We have just launched our new layout and the new Report Your Ex is online. Out with the old and in with the new, as the saying goes. We have worked out some navigation and organizational issues, and we hope that the new layout is better in our user’s eyes. We have also updated our servers and databases as well. All in all, we feel that this new layout is easier on the eyes, easier to navigate and much more organized, from a user’s perspective. We hope that you agree as well. Over the next 24 hours we will be making a few more minor changes. Don’t worry, the site will still function fine.
Your Report Your Ex Complaints Have Been Heard
Your Report Your Ex complaints have been heard; loud and clear. We get it, you didn’t like a 95% blue website. We understand, and we have answered accordingly. We have also rearranged the homepage to give you more understanding of what’s available to view on our site. We have several informational sections within this site that most people never found with the old layout. After testing the layout with some beta testers, we’ve found that with these new changes those issues should be minimized, if not, eliminated.
Purpose Of Report Your Ex
The purpose of Report Your Ex is multi-fold; it’s not just about reporting ex boyfriends and ex girlfriends. We want to provide an informative website to help answer the relationship questions that people seek. This is also why we’ve added our “Questions & Answers” section. We want to give users the opportunity to ask questions of other users and have our regular users login and answer those questions. We hope that this will create a more interactive community of users that can help each other in the various areas of dating and sex.

Need To Report Your Ex?
The site may have changed but the admin is still not being fair with their policies concerning the ability for posters to remove their own posting. The admin is so desperate to get attantion of ” this trashing garbage website” that they even use ” fake members” that they creat to rave about the site in order to try to promote more traffic. ADMIN you should be ashamed and I look forward to seeing someone sue you for deflamantion of character!!!
@Someone: We obviously need to go over a few issues here. Let’s address them one by one, so as to be clear.

–The policies have not changed since the creation of this site. We have made it very clear in the policies (and several articles within this site) that Ex Reports cannot be removed, even by the original poster. We do this to prevent bullying, extortion, etc. And for that matter, if someone is going to report someone on Report Your Ex (or one of the similar sites), I would think that they wouldn’t post something that they’ll later regret.

–Okay, this sentence doesn’t make a whole lot of sense, however, let’s do our best to understand and respond to it. We are not desperate what-so-ever. We have never used a fake member to “rave about the site”. And lastly, putting testimonials from users doesn’t mean anything to search engines that would increase traffic to the site. Thousands upon thousands of websites place testimonials on their site.
3.)”ADMIN you should be ashamed”
–Why should we be ashamed? For giving people a voice to express how they’ve been done wrong? Everyone who has posted on this site has the ability to set up an account through tumblr, blogspot, etc. to “talk trash” if that’s what they are intending to do. We are creating a “Dater’s Reference Database” where people have the ability to research someone before they enter into, what could be, a severely harmful and unjust relationship.

–That’s not very “classy” at all. Coming from someone with “classy” in their email address. We do not create the reports that are posted on this site. We simply give people a central place where “they” can do so. We have no way of knowing that any particular report contains defamatory content. We advise all of our posters to NOT lie in the Ex Report that they create; i.e. the posting policy “…REPORTYOUREX.COM REQUESTS THAT EVERYONE PROVIDE ACCURATE INFORMATION…” and “…Don’t lie to get even, the truth should be enough…”. If someone uses our site to defame another, we hope that the poster has to face the music in a court of law. Those court documents can be sent over to us for a removal of the Ex Report.
And lastly “SOMEONE”, if you’re a woman, wouldn’t you like to know beforehand if your potential future boyfriend beat up the last 3 girlfriends he dated? And if you’re a man, wouldn’t you like to know if your future potential girlfriend is a serial cheater? That’s the whole purpose behind this site.
