Total Sociopath-David Adkins from RI/KY. now in Plano TX
I dated this man for almost a year. He initiated our relationship with alot of charm, flowers, wooing and promises that led quickly to lies, and verbal and emotional abuse once his ego was not being fed by the demands he placed on you OR you made any criticisms toward him whatsoever. He was raised in KY by an abusive father who died of liver failure some years prior ( I am still unsure if the true cause of this man’s death was alcohlism, but I saw alcoholic tendencies in David). I believe David was abused both physically and verbally from this man from what he described to me (I also get the sense that the mother was abuse from the father as well). The impact today on his life is huge. The family also spent most of their life running from the law as the father was involved with insurance scams for several years. This left David a transplant for most of his childhood, no roots, and poor socialization. Constant lies to me, denial about being out with other women, texts from other women on his phone asking them to go to the movies, telling me he was looking at other women but thinking of me at the same time, denying me sex, throwing me on the bed, biting my arm in restaurants and leaving bruises, yelling at me in bars for talking sweet to him and rubbing his back, mad for buying him too many christmas presents than returning them all, talking bad about me to friends/coworkers and family who never met me, never wanting to go out unless it was about him, patting my hair down if he didnt like it, taking out the vaccuum and making me vaccuum his house before taking me out to dinner, squeezing and shaking less ‘tone’ areas on my body to make me feel bad, breaking up with me after spending a week with me on vacation and moving 2000 mi away, setting up online profiles to talk to other women before breaking off the relationship…the list goes on. Stay away from this man to keep your self esteem intact!
