just for fun, what do you think obama would have done if in every debate the first question was about bill ayers or wright and what would you say about that?
Because the media doesn’t seem to understand that only Democrats can be criticized for any moral failings and for not practicing family values.
“Family Values” is a Republican construct that is only to be used and interpreted by Republicans and only applies to Democrats. The media just doesn’t get it.
Republicans are not, under any circumstances, to be criticized for not following the values that they constantly preach and use as a weapon against Democrats.
Any attempts by the media to point out the blatant Republican hypocrisy are obviously just partisan attacks and can be dismissed as such.
The hypocrisy of the left is so funny and predictable. The want gay marriage rights, abortion and other liberal soap boxes, but when a con acts like them they get upset. So predictable. Plus this news is old news.
Well, keep in mind the constituency that Newt is trying to attract voters from. Gingrich and the other remaining Republicans were at a REPUBLICAN debate in South Carolina, a state that is notorious for its Confederate past and being staunchly conservative. He was well aware that a majority of conservatives have an unfavorable opinion of the media, with the possible exception of FOX. Somehow, those people believe that there is some type of liberal slant in media coverage, despite countless evidence proving otherwise. And he cleverly used this media distrust to his advantage, thus aiding in his recent rise in the SC polls.
In a nutshell, it’s all politics. Whether you agree or disagree with him, Gingrich is simply doing what works for him, and what his supporters like.
